Happy Thanksgiving!!

Well, these aren't pictures of thanksgiving, but I thought I would add them to them mix! A few days ago Hayden thought it would be fun to build a fort. I started getting all the blankets out and moving the chairs, but he remembered Mark's camo tent downstairs and wanted to get that. The kids had fun (as you can see!)
Peek-a-boo!
Having fun with flashlights
Lilly's hair had a little static!

We went to Amy's for thanksgiving and had a fun time with cousins and momo and papa! Momo brought the pilgrim hats for the kids to wear. This year, Hayden finally went for the "boy" hat!
Even mark (in the background) got in to the spirit and wore a hat for caleb!

Loving momo!!

A beautiful couple!

Momo held caleb during the meal since he decided that he wasn't going to sleep yesterday! Luckily he slept from 9-5am!!
My favorite picture!!!
Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful for (see above pictures!!)

Catching Up

It seems like I have taken a lot of picture this month, but haven't had time to post, so here is a random post of what's happening here!!

Winter is here! Last night we got about 3-4 inches of snow! Lilly got a new hat and mittens this year, and loves wearing them around the house. She is also getting "close" to being potty trained. The past couple of days she actually tells me when she has to go...BEFORE she actually goes (most of the time). Other times, for some reason she goes into our pantry and goes and then comes out and tells me she has to go. Then I find a puddle on the floor of the pantry!! Oh-well...maybe someday :)
Caleb is now 8 weeks!! Here he is at 6 weeks. I was quite impressed at how he can hold his head up.

I also got a little baby shower at church. It was fun to get together and show off Caleb, although he slept the whole time :) Since we have plenty of boy clothes, I requested diapers and wipes. Now we have a closet-full of supplies!! Also, instead of clothes/toys for Caleb, people brought toys for our church nursery and I got to open them. Some of the toys in our nursery are REALLY old, so the kids were so excited to get new and improved toys that work!

The past couple of weeks, Caleb has become quite the smiler. He is starting to really focus on people/objects and loves to "goo" at people!! Momo was the first person he smiled at!

Sometimes he needs a little practice focusing!! :) I remember getting pictures of Hayden and Lilly like this.

The other day, Hayden and Lilly got into the crib with Caleb, so we had a little photo shoot!

Loving and crazy siblings

I wonder what Caleb thinks about all of this!

Loving brothers

Grandma and Grandpa came up for the afternoon on Friday. Hayden and Lilly LOVED having Grandma Judy's undivided attention playing with them. Here they are saying goodbye to Caleb. I missed the big smile he gave Grandpa, but thought this one was cute too!

Playing in the snow last Friday

Rolling in the snow is fun too!! Hayden LOVES the snow and will dive, roll, lay, and put his face in the snow!! Lilly likes it, but has a hard time moving in all her snow gear, so gets stuck a lot!! I remember that feeling when I was little!!

Here they are this morning with gear on, ready to help me shovel!!

Daddy's Little Helper

Hayden is quite the Daddy's boy lately. He loves going down to the basement ANY time that Mark goes down to do wood working. Mark is really good about letting him help and teaching him about all the tools. I think Hayden will be quite the wood worker when he gets older (probably when he's 10!!) :)

Here he is practicing with a screw driver...in..out...in...out...

Look! They stick together!
Gotta stay safe with safety goggles!!

Our little poser!

Like father, like son :)

Now, just being silly. "Ow, dad! My TOE!!!"

"Ouch Hayden, my thumb!!"

Mark has been working on building a poker table for the Guild School Auction this spring. Our friend's mom is going to do the staining and cloth for it.

Take a look at his skills!!

Halloween FUN

We had a fun Halloween this year. It was fun having 2 big trick-or-treaters and seeing them go up to each door eager for their candy. One would cautiously wait for the candy to be put in the bucket and the other would dig right into the candy bucket being handed out. (Can you guess who that was??) We only had a few traumatic moments. One was when Hayden was ready to hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters and one of the kids came to the door dressed in the "Scream" mask that had blood actively trickling down his face. Hayden started screaming and crying. We had a good talk about "make believe" and in the end, he told me that he was just "worried that the blood was going to get onto his shirt" :) He keeps us laughing!!

Here is our cute little pea pod.

We went and visited the cousins on Saturday for some early trick-or-treating
They had fun decorating cookies together

Jake liked the frosting!!

Fun Halloween dinner of "bloody" jello, "pumpkin" stuffed peppers and little smokie "mummies"

Ready for trick-or-treating. The kids got down on Caleb's level to pose :)

Wiped out after trick-or-treating!

Checking out the loot!
