Christmas Post :)

Christmas has come and gone.  It's crazy how quickly this month passes with all the fun things going on.  The kids have a had a fun break so far.  Now, we are ready to just relax and play this next week before heading back to school again.

Before school ended, Lilly had a special day with dad, singing songs and making a gingerbread house with him.  She had a great time! (and so did dad)!!

Hayden turned 7!!  He chose eggs and toast for his birthday breakfast.  Then, the kids headed off to the last day of school before break.  By the time they came home, it had snowed 2-3" and they were ready for Christmas break.
Grandma and Grandpa and Grandma great came that night (slow traveling) in the snow in time to celebrate the big 7 year old.  He chose Swedish meatballs for his birthday dinner
The fun part of opening presents this year, was being able to read all the cards by himself!
He chose birthday pie rather than cake (just like his dad!!)
Up early the next morning before the rest of the family working on his Brickmaster Legos from the Saisslin's.
Birthday party at the tubing hill.  I think the adults had just as much fun as the kids!!
 Girl table :)
 A real light saber!!
LEGOS!!!  That set was finished by the end of the day!  Hayden is quite the Lego Man!
Auntie Colleen and Uncle Ryan came for an early Christmas celebration and spoiled us ALL!!!!
Lego Friends....Lilly got pretty good at following the directions and putting together her own Lego set!
MILLENNIUM FALCON!!!!  Best present EVER, according to Hayden.  He aspires to be just like Uncle Ryan and own as many Star War Lego sets as he can!!
 Christmas Pageant

Both working on their Lego sets
New Tradition - we went to the Manito Park green house.  All the plants were covered in lights and there were more varieties of Poinsettias than I have ever seen.  It was great!

Even the cactus was covered in lights...how did they do that??
Mark, Gary and I took Hayden, Lilly and Caleb up skiing one day...this was the only picture I got.  They did have fun though!!

Great gift from my Secret Santa Tyler (Dawn)!!  A recipe book holder, circle cutters of all sizes and a crème brule kit (my favorite dessert ever!)  I can't wait to try it out.  I think it will be a new New Years tradition!
Can you tell she is having fun!?
Great gift from secret Santa Aspen!  We have already read most of the stories!
All the kids love playing with this magnet shape toy from Aspen as well!
Mark showing off his nice flannel from secret Santa Jamie!
Grace enjoying her blanket made by Secret Santa Anna.  She loves it and sleeps with it every night now!

Holidays!

It's been a fun holiday season!  Thought I would catch up with some of our recent photos.  We have enjoyed getting to watch our Amaryllis grow from a bulb.  It's getting taller and I think will be blooming soon!

Thanksgiving - going to Seattle for a fun time hosted by Auntie Colleen and Uncle Ryan.  It was a great weekend!

Got to go to the Seattle Aquarium.  The kids thought it was great!

Pretending to ride a killer whale :)
 Watching the sea lions
We also celebrated Grandpa's 90th birthday with the rest of the Wagenblast Family.  Here is the newest edition, Titan
 Is that 90 candles?

The kids did a great job helping to decorate this year and keep us on track doing advent every day
Sometimes boxes are more exciting than what comes inside them!
Helping to decorate the gingerbread house
 Baby Grace??
Celebrating Hayden's 7th birthday at Red Robin.

 YUMMM...Are you going to share?
 Getting ready for Santa
3 of the 4 made it on Santa's lap this year.  Grace wasn't quite ready to be handed over to a strange man in a red hat and coat and long beard!
Getting ready for the Christmas play??
We have more pictures, but they are on our new camera, which I haven't figured out how to transfer over to the computer!  It's been a fun holiday season so far though!!!  Tomorrow is Christmas Eve Eve!! :)
