Outside!!!

Today felt warm enough to head outside and the kids LOVED it!!  2 hours later, it was lightening and thundering :(

Look at this wild girl with her hair flying in the wind!  She loved the swing.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Every year since Hayden and Robin were little, we have celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with some fun!  Last Friday was our 6th annual celebration!  We had a great time with the cousins and it was a good excuse to get together for some eating and crafting...and reading!!  We started out the day with some cat in the hat smoothies and lunch and stamped apples (Ten Apples up on Top) on our self portraits (i didn't get pictures of that)

 Then attempted a balloon throw in the cat's hat

 Then, we made some glippity glop!!  (gak)  the kids have loved playing with these!

 And made some glasses to go along with "The Eye Book"  Those look like some smart kids!!

 Grace was happy to participate and loves the Horton that Robin and Jake brought for her!!

Cousin Fun!

A few weekends ago, we had Robin and Jake over for a sleep over and then our kids went and played at their house the whole day next day so Mark and I could tour the city's breweries!  Thanks, Amy and Joel!!  I didn't get many pictures, but we had a fun night together.  As per Robin's hopes, we all watched a movie and ate popcorn in our sleeping bags....then came the trying to settle down for sleep!!  I was happy to say that they were all "sleeping" by 9pm and slept all night!!

Grace had fun getting to crawl around on everyone!

 Robin was a good helper and liked pretending she was the babysitter of Grace :)
