Summer fun with cousins

Yesterday Marks cousin's kids came to play, Trevor and Ashlyn. They had a fun time playing in the water outside. You can just see it on their faces.

Soccertots

This week, we started Hayden and Lilly in Soccertots. So, once a week until the end of August, we'll be headed to the park to watch the kids run in the sun! It wasn't too hot this week, but we'll see how much Caleb is smiling at the end of August!

Hayden and Lilly were in different classes, but they go at the same time and are right next to each other so it was fun to see how different they are. Hayden was very serious, shy and quiet. He followed everything the teacher said. They did lots of fun "drills"/games along with playing soccer, so it made the hour go by fast. Here they are walking on the ladder.

Lilly loved her class too! She was very energetic, volunteering to go first in each game and loved running around the field. Here, the coach would roll hoola hoops out in the field and they had to run and catch them before the hoop fell to the ground.

Lilly was the 1st one out there.

Learning some ball skills :)

In Lilly's class, they played a game where one kid had a cape (fox tail) and the other kids had to run and try to grab the tail off. Lilly was the 1st to be the "fox"

She did a good job running as fast as she could!

Our builder

This week, each day Hayden has wanted to work on putting together legos!! He loves to build things....I wonder who he gets that from!! Other than needing help finding the pieces in the box, he can follow the instructions to put his legos together. Here is what he built this week! By the time he built his police helicoptor, there wasn't much left in the box, so he was able to put it together without ANY help! I don't think I could even put together puzzles when I was his age! He's quite the little builder!

9 months

I love this little stinker. I think I always post a close up of his face, but I just think he is too cute! I can't believe he is already going to be 9 months tomorrow!! He is still the best baby ever! Always happy and goes with the flow. He's getting better at rocking on his knees, and can move from sitting back and forth to hands and knees. Still no teeth and not much hair, but we still think he's pretty darn cute!!!!!

Rainy Hike

Last weekend, I took the weekend off of work for Father's Day weekend. We decided to go on a hike with the kids. It was sunny and a little cloudy when we left, but by the time we got to the trail, it had started sprinkling. The kids didn't mind though. We got a little wet and still had fun. Caleb even had fun for the 1st time in his backpack!

The river was moving fast that day!

All that hiking wiped Caleb out!

The kids liked looking at the river on the "swinging bridge". It made me a little nauseous though!! Overall it was a fun day!

Weekend with Caleb

Last weekend, Caleb and I flew to Utah for a cousin's wedding. He was the best traveler and quite the flirt! He loved getting attention from ANYONE! Here he is waiting to get on the plane.

His crazy face!
On Friday night, we all got together with my Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents and cousins for dinner. It was fun to see everyone again and catch up. Here is Papa Great with Caleb.

My cousins, Paige and Aaron (we were best buds growing up)

My mom's sister, Patti.

My cousin's daughter, Meg loved playing and mothering Caleb. She's almost 2.

Caleb's new trick (hands and toes only!) He's gonna be one strong guy! :)

Sisters at the wedding. It was a beautiful wedding outdoors in a canyon. It was so green and great weather! I felt a little "brightly" dressed!

Caleb didn't mind sweet Meg's kisses all weekend!

Getting ready for the wedding

My cousin, Will (the groom). I loved how his sister, Kait looked proudly at him ;)

My brother, Brian and sweet baby Aspen. She looked so cute in her dress and shiny shoes.

Grandma Great got a chance to hold Caleb

I had great helpers this weekend. Caleb really got to know his Auntie's this weekend and loved giving them his flirtatious grin!

Amy walked Caleb to sleep at the reception. Nice and cozy.
