Christmas Program

The kids had their Christmas program at preschool a couple of weekends ago. They both did a GREAT job. This was Lilly's favorite song, as you can see because she loved the "finger motions"! You can see her on the left and Hayden is near the middle in a red sweater vest.

Sitting On Santa's Lap

No one cried this year, so we were happy! Even Caleb didn't mind sitting on Santa's lap!

Christmas is almost here!

I can't believe it is so close to Christmas!! It seems like it was just Halloween!! We have been having fun decorating, doing crafts, and getting ready for the holiday....maybe that's why it has taken me so long to post pictures!
Here is our little Rudolph. Caleb loves getting into everything and thought it was fun to put on this nose and push the button to light it up!

Hayden helped Mark put up the Christmas lights this year. His job was to unscrew the burned out bulbs and put in new ones! He did a great job!

Countdown to Christmas

Hayden asked to make a paper chain to countdown until Christmas (I think he remembers the one we made for the countdown til Caleb!) So, I cut out the paper, and Hayden and Lilly glued their chains together. Now, we get to tear off a ring each night. It's getting shorter!! I can't believe that Christmas is almost here!!!

Gum drop tree

Hayden and Lilly remembered our gum drop tree from last year, so as soon as we got the decorations out they kept asking me when they would get to put the gum drops on. I finally got some gum drops and they did a great job putting them on. Now, we get to enjoy gum drops everyday!!!

Christmas Tree Decorating

It has been fun getting ready for Christmas this year with Hayden and Lilly to help me. We decorated our tree last week. They were great at putting on the ornaments!

Caleb liked "helping" too!

Gingerbread House

This week, Hayden and Lilly helped me put together our gingerbread house. This was a fun tradition that I had growing up each year, and now it's even easier when you don't have to bake the gingerbread and cut it out!! Hayden was my #1 helper, holding up the pieces and putting on all the candy. Lilly helped to put the gumdrops on at the end....and ate a few too! I wonder if that was why Hayden was throwing up the next day!!
