Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Just thought I would blog one more time before this baby comes!!  We had a fun St. Patrick's Day together. It was fun having it on a Saturday....the celebration lasted all day long!!!  It was fun how the kids remembered about the tricky leprechauns from last year and were searching all day to find one in the act of turning things green (although I didn't even have to be too sneaky about what I was doing because they didn't suspect me!!)  Hayden was up bright and early and dressed in green before even coming out of his room.  In the morning, the kids were surprised with their own rainbow waffle and green applesauce.

Hayden worked hard making a leprechaun trap and got it all set up with a picture of a leprechaun in the trap, so that they would know where to go.  We never caught any leprechauns, but the leprechaun's did leave them some green candy!
The kids had fun wearing their masks and necklaces from Grandma and Papa great (and are still wearing them).  We finished off the day with green jello/cottage cheese/pineapple salad, corn beef and cabbage, green milk, and creme de menthe cake.  I even got to get a pedicure with a friend.  We can't believe we'll be in the process of the c-section in just 12 hours!!

Happy Birthday Mark

On Wednesday, we celebrated Mark's birthday.  We had a fun night with a spaghetti/meatball dinner, presents and cherry pie.  The kids made their own cards for dad and were excited to finally get to give them at the end of the day.

We gave him ski blades  this year....so although he may not be able to use them this year, he's looking forward to using them next time he goes skiing.  (They are basically mini skis that are easy to maneuver).  He thought they would be easy to use when teaching the kids, because now his skis wont get in the way when he's skiing in front or behind them!
Happy Birthday Mark!  You are the best husband and Dad!!!!

Auction Night

This weekend was the Guild's School Auction.  Mark made some crafty items for the silent auction which our friend's mom painted and then the poker table for the loud auction.  All of the proceeds went towards supporting this 0-3 program for kids with special needs.  It was a fun night, seeing all the high bidders (not us) and seeing the final painted projects, which looked even more amazing in person.  We were surprised at how high the silent auction items went for!  It was fun walking around and watching each item get higher and higher....we tried to help it along by commenting on how cute they were as we walked by!!

The shark chair went for $185

Giraffe growth chart went for $100
 Butterfly chair went for $250!!

This year, the poker table will be "custom made" so whoever bought it gets to pick what color/logo they want for the background.  This year, it sold for $1100 and will have a EWU background/logos.  We'll have to blog a picture once the final colors are done.  Overall, it was a successful night!!

Due Date

Well, unless the baby comes early, the official c-section date is March 19th at 7:30 a.m.  Only 3 more weeks until we get to meet baby Wags #4!!!!

Walla Walla Weekend

This weekend, we headed down to see my brother and his family in Walla Walla.  The kids had fun with Anna and Ryan and luckily Anna and Ryan didn't mind them following them everywhere all weekend long!
They set up their HUGE tent in the basement and slept in there both nights.  Anna was good about Lilly cuddling all night long and sharing her pillow!!
Caleb had fun dressing up in Ryan's Seahawk uniform
Lilly couldn't wait to hold Licorice, their pet guinea pig
On Saturday, everyone was supposed to go skiing, but it was too cold and windy, so we had fun staying indoors.  Ryan let Hayden build a fun water pumping toy.
Then we all went and did some fun indoor putt putt.  Caleb liked throwing his ball toward the hole see how close he could get.  Amazingly, he got it in the hole most of the time!!

Dawn entertained the kids with reading after nap time
The kids were also introduced to Kinect!!  Here they are skiing!!
On the way home, we took the scenic route and went to Palouse Falls.  Although it was windy and cold, the kids had fun looking at the giant waterfall!!

34 weeks

Well, here's an updated picture of the BELLY!  I'm at 34 weeks and still growing!  Only 5 weeks to go (since we'll be having a c-section at 39 weeks)  It's really hard to believe that Christmas has been more then 5 weeks ago and how fast the time has gone since then....MEANING.....we'll have a baby before we know it!!!

Update

I have been meaning to post for a while now, but just getting around to it.  Here is what we have been up to...at least here is what we were up to a couple of weekends ago.  Hayden and Lilly had their "preschool museum" at school.  Each year, they learn a different theme and get to go to all the stations during the week. This year, they added a parent night where the kids could teach their parents what they had learned that week.  This year, the theme was the "body".  We had a fun night learning all about our different senses and about how the body works.  Here are the kids testing out the smelling sense....hmmm....I wonder why they all had colds the next week!!
Caleb enjoyed the "sound" station getting to shake all the rattles and play the drums
At this station, the kids had fun picking out different foods hidden in the beans and then sort them into their food groups.  Caleb just like the beans!
Putting together the skeleton puzzle.  Hayden was very methodical, making sure the right and left extremities were in the right place.
That same weekend, Grandma and Grandpa came and took the kids (and me) to Beauty and the Beast.  We went out to dinner beforehand.  Here are the kids enjoying the CHEESY sticks and seeing just how long they could get the cheese to go!

Excited for the play!!  We had front row tickets in the balcony, so had a straight shot view of the stage.  The kids loved it and had a great time!!!!
