Applesauce weekend

Last weekend we had our annual applesauce making weekend with Mark's family. Once again, it was great apple picking weather, and we now have yummy applesauce for the next year.

Here is Hayden learning to play "War" with Grandma

Having fun in the wheelbarrow

There were lots of dandelions, so when the kids were worn out with apples, they stayed busy blowing dandelion seeds :)

It took Lilly a little longer to learn how to blow the flower, but once she ate a mouthful, she quickly figured out how to do it the correct way!

Our littlest apple picker!

MMMMMM!!
After apple picking, we went to another farm to find some pumpkins

Hayden was proud to find a white one. He says he's going to carve it into a ghost!
Where's Lilly?

Petting the ponies
Sitting on the hay bale maze waiting for the punkin' chunkin'
At the pumpkin farm, they had a pumpkin cannon. Here it is shooting out a pumpkin! The pumpkin went REALLY high in the air and landed 1/4 of a mile away!! It was fun to watch

Once we made it back home, it was time for some applesauce making!! Hayden was the #1 "helper". He wanted to know about each step of making applesauce.

Taking a break opening some fun presents from Auntie Colleen and Uncle Ryan

It was a fun weekend. We have been enjoying our applesauce!!
