We have a video of "little bear" jumping in a pond and putting a lily on his head, so Lilly wanted to do the same thing :)

Hayden was a little terrified at first, but eventually got the hang of getting in the water

Caleb had a hard time taking longer naps, so by the end of the day he was wiped out and even fell asleep in Mark's shoulders which doesn't happen often.

One morning we went on a walk around the lake. Caleb didn't mind the backpack for most of the walk and was asleep by the end

Lilly did pretty well walking most of the 3 miles around the lake, but didn't mind taking turns on every one's shoulders!

After a couple of days, Hayden worked up the courage to jump into the lake too!

On the 4th of July, Judy and I took the kids to Northwest Trek to see all the animals. The kids had a fun time and took turns sitting next to grandma

We saw buffalo (bison)
And Caribou
We saw lots of deer, a moose, billy goats, cougars, bear, .....and lots more I can't remember! Here is as close as Hayden wants to get to a grizzly bear!

My brother, Brian and Jamie and little aspen stopped by for the afternoon of the 4th. Aspen was decked out in her red, white and blue

Lilly made a new best friend over the weekend! Good thing Uncle Ryan was a good sport and let her tag along with him everywhere he went!
They even shared dessert together :)

And Hayden had a glow in the dark "fireman" ax and lady bug glasses that glowed in the dark
