Last weekend, we headed over to the cabin. It was a fun and relaxing weekend, and we even saw the sun a few times! Here is our attempt to take a family picture with the timer. We were trying to capture Mount Rainier behind us.

Grace loved going fast in the boat and asked to go fast every time she got into the boat.
S'mores by the fire was a highlight of the weekend

Bigger kids slept in the loft. They thought it was great!
Hayden even got to use an ax to make "kindling" for the fire. He worked an worked on this log all day...and didn't even chop off a toe!
Our friends Jen and Grant met us there. Here is Grace talking and talking, and Grant trying to make out what she was saying!
Auntie Colleen and Uncle Ryan also came down, so of course there was lots of Lego playing!
Found a special "fort" under the branches of a big tree. But they would only go in if all of them were together (zoom in to see them huddled together)
1st attempt at water skiing...got about this far. Had to test out putting his feet in, but didn't want to be pulled by the boat. Maybe next summer.
