Wiggle Worm
Today, Caleb decided that everytime he sits in his highchair or Bumbo, he needs to wiggle. CONSTANTLY! It makes it hard for feeding! This morning, he got baby oatmeal in his eye!

Dad's Day
Today was "Dad's Day" at Hayden's school. The last 30 minutes of school, Mark got to come and watch Hayden sing with the other preschoolers and then go back to his class for snack and reading a special story about each dad. Mark said that when Hayden came into the big room to sing, he had a nervous look on his face until he spotted Mark and his face lit up! Here is Hayden's impression of his dad (see above):His hair is brown.
His eyes are brown.
He is 6 feet tall.
He weighs 11 pounds.
His favorite color is green. (and I like green too).
His favorite food is ham sadwiches.
His favorite sport is baseball.
When he goes to work he goes to the office and looks at stuff.
I love my dad because he loves me.
That's a pretty good description of Mark!!

Look who is sitting!!

Caleb will be 6 months old on Thursday!! Can't believe that! Today, he has decided to start sitting all by himself (still a little wobbly, but he catches himself most of the time) as well as rolling to his belly over and over again!! If only he could roll back onto his back :) It's amazing how once babies learn how to do it, they just do it over and over again (all in one day!!)Fun with Grandma Great

This weekend, Hayden and Lilly went down to Richland to spend the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. The grandparents came all the way up to Spokane to pick them up and bring Grandma Great to an appointment. Caleb enjoyed sitting on Grandma Great's lap and getting to know her. He likes to grab anything, including cheeks and noses!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! It has been fun to wear green and to have the Leprechauns trick us by turning all our food green. Today the kids were excited to eat green pancakes and apple sauce. Hayden brought celery and carrots and green dip for his class snack today and for lunch they were surprised with green milk! Tonight, Hayden and Lilly are headed to their grandparents house, so we'll see if the Leprechauns show up there too!!
Here are our little Leprechauns.

The other night, Caleb had rice cereal for the first time! What do you think he thought of it??
I think he enjoyed grabbing the spoon more than eating the food!

But overall, I think he enjoyed the new experience!

Auction update
On Saturday we went to the Guild School Auction. Here is Mark's poker table up on stage for the live auction. It sold for $1450 and was the 2nd highest item of the night. We were pretty excited and it was fun watching everyone keep raising their numbers as the bids went up.
Mark and I ready for dinner and auction
Mark also made a picnic table for the silent auction which our friend's mom painted. My camera wouldn't focus well in the lighting, but it was very cute. Unfortunately, they didn't have room for it, so it was on it's side and kind of hidden....but it did make $130.

I haven't taken very many pictures that last couple of months...not much going on, other than the same old stuff. Sorry Caleb....#3 isn't getting as many "photo shoots" as the other 2 did!!
Caleb is now 5 months old and a BIG boy! He loves to jump in his bouncer....I guess I left him in there a little too long!
One Friday we went to a pizza place with my sister and her kids. Here are Robin and Hayden posing as Jane and Tarzan.
Caleb loves everything his big bro does and Hayden loves that Caleb is always watching him. Hayden loves to kiss and cuddle with his little brother. Hayden keeps asking when Caleb gets to share a room with him so that they can have bunk beds. I think they will be quite the buds as Caleb grows!
