Our Whirl-Wind of an Easter Weekend!

We had a fun but busy Easter weekend.  Got to see lots of family and show Grace off to everyone.  It started on Thursday with Mark's parents coming back into town from Canada and spending a few days with us, and going to a Sedar dinner at our church (didn't get any pictures).  Then, we woke up bright and early on Saturday and headed down to Ritzville for some early Easter fun at the farm.  Hayden and Lilly were especially excited to see cousins Trevor and Ashlyn.

Auntie Carol got each of the kids some fun Easter baskets that they played with while we were there
Angela got in some baby time with Grace (still looking small)

Painting Tinker Bell pictures with Ashlyn
Throwing foam airplanes outside with Trevor
Grandma Great got a long turn holding Grace, who was sound asleep!

Trevor entertained by reading a book from the iPad

After lunch in Ritzville, we headed to dad's house to meet up with more cousins!  It was Aspen's 1st birthday party and we had a great time.  Here they are coloring pictures.

 Posing as cowboys/girls

And playing pin the tail on the donkey!  Hayden was so excited that he got spot on!!  He watched all the kids take turns, and then had in his mind his own plan (finding the door knob with his hand to know that he was close to the donkey's bottom!!)  He was very proud!

Getting to pass Grace around

However, now we know why all my kids cry when they see Uncle Turkey!

Brian and Jamie cooked a great Passover meal!

Caleb found some of momo's old glasses...do you see the resemblance with his big blue eyes??

Caleb had fun with dress-up wigs.  What a beautiful little girl!
Even Uncle Mark took a turn (a little creepy, we all decided)

Easter morning was busy at our house too.  It was fun to see Hayden and Lilly's surprise finding the jelly bean trail and hidden Easter eggs.  I loved having 4 Easter baskets lined up on the fire place this year (the little things that make me happy), although I don't think I got a picture of that.

Caleb couldn't control himself eating jelly beans, and we soon had to quickly pick them all up before he made himself sick!

Grace even got a turn opening her Easter basket with her dad's and lilly's help!

Early morning painting

Grace's Easter dress from the Saisslin's.  It was like dressing a baby doll!!  (another highlight to my day!)

Dressed and ready to head to church
After church we headed over to Amy and Joel's for a GREAT Easter brunch.   And some playing outside in the sun!  It was nice for a change to not have to wear coats!

Rough-housing with Uncle Brian (poor aspen)

 Soaking in the sun

Just can't get enough of this little girl!!

All the cousins. Can you believe we have had a baby born every year since 2006, plus 5 more before that??  We missed you Saisslin family!
Sisters.  Lilly is a great help and loves to hold in Grace's binky to get her to stop crying.
