It's hard to believe a week has already gone by since the birthday/Christmas celebrations began!! Last Saturday Grandma, Grandpa, Colleen and Ryan arrived and Papa came over for a birthday celebration for Hayden. He was one lucky guy!
Look at all these LEGOS!!!!! Yes, one box has 2000 pieces alone!
Caleb thought he would try on the Mario pj's Hayden got....only a few more years and they'll fit!
More wishes to be made (does it count if you blow the candle out with your nose??) :)
Sunday was the Christmas pageant at church. Lilly made a beautiful angel, complete with hand motions for the songs, (although they didn't learn any hand motions!)
Hayden was a handsome shepherd!
Grace isn't crawling yet, but she manages to get anywhere she wants by rolling and scooting on her belly! She even managed to pick up a bow on her bum (I guess she is our little Christmas present!)
The night before Christmas Eve, we got about 3 inches of snow. It was great for packing a we had a great time building a fort, giant snowman and throwing snow balls!
It took some concentration to pack and throw the snowball!
Our snow man took 2 to lift it!!
Action shot!
Family shot. Too bad Grace was taking a nap!
Excited to open our Christmas eve PJ's!
Cutie pie!
Ready for Santa to come!
Christmas morning (up by 6am)!! I think Hayden and Caleb were awake before this, but I told them not to come out of their rooms until 6:00. Here is Caleb peeking to see if Santa came!
Yawning, yet excited!
Santa came! Barbie doll house was a hit for Lilly...AND Hayden!
Caleb and Lilly opened all their presents standing! I think they were too excited to sit!
New underwear! Is this where they go??
Santa brought Caleb a helmet and jersey so he can pretend to be a real football player!
Excited to finally be awake and join in the fun!
Day after everyone left....I think it was a busy week!
On Thursday, we headed to Red Robin to meet some friends....Grace was excited!
Rode on the carousel too
It has been a fun week. Hayden and Lilly also got to go skiing with Mark and his parents and we have also just been relaxing, playing with our new crafts and lots and lots of LEGOS!! The kids go back to school on Wednesday....although the Christmas song says "and mom and dad can hardly wait for school to start again", we have been enjoying our lazy mornings and just being together. Happy New Year!!
